Since 1964, Swiss archaeologists have been exploring the ancient city of Eretria, on the island of Euboea. More recently, excavations near Amarynthos have led to the discovery of the Sanctuary of Artemis, the most renowned place of cult of the Eretrians.
The School also supports Swiss archaeological projects elsewhere in Greece.
